January 31, 2011 - Austin Chemical Company, Inc. is pleased to announce that it has signed a Business Representative Agreement with Syncom BV (Netherlands). Syncom is a privately-owned Contract Research Organization that specializes in all aspects of organic synthesis from lead discovery through preclinical and early clinical development. With 90 scientists, 155 hoods plus 20 walk-in hoods contained within their 45,000 sq. ft. facility, Syncom provides full drug discovery and development services support. Their extensive list of specialties include beta-Lactam chemistry (dedicated lab), Vitamin D analogues, stable isotope labeled compounds, and isolation of metabolites, to name only a few.
Already well-known for their unique Chirality - First Time Right service, which can tackle virtually any chirality issue a company may be experiencing, Syncom also offers rapid SAR exploration through their collection of over 10,000 useful known, rare, and unique compounds. Building blocks, scaffolds, and focused libraries of 10-50 compounds are synthesized based on customer selections.
